Ukrposhta parcel auctions: prices doubled in October

Sets of undelivered Ukrposhta parcels on Prozorro.Sale have become much more expensive. From 1 to 15 October 2026 a winner was determined in 20 auctions, and half of the sets went for more than UAH 15,050. For comparison: from March to early October that figure was UAH 7,800, in September about UAH 10,200. The starting price has not changed — UAH 1,200 for a set of 100 boxes.

How the price changed

The turning point came in mid-September. In August the weekly average final price stayed at UAH 5,000–9,000; from 15 September it was already UAH 11,000–16,000. In the week of 13 October four sets went for almost UAH 20,000 on average.

October’s most expensive sets:

• UAH 27,000 — Kyiv, auction on 13 October;
• UAH 25,001 — Mykolaiv, 8 October (in September Mykolaiv sets sold for UAH 4,700–10,400);
• UAH 20,001 — Kyiv, 13 October.

October’s cheapest set sold for UAH 8,950 — more than half of the sets cost in March–September. So the “cheap” UAH 3,000–5,000 sets (14 of them sold in June–August) did not appear in October at all.

Fewer sets

Ukrposhta put up 73 sets in August, 48 in September and 21 in the first half of October: 17 in Kyiv, 2 in Dnipro, one each in Ternopil and Lviv. The terms are the same: start UAH 1,200, guarantee deposit UAH 120, bid step UAH 60.

There is no official explanation for the rise. The timing is obvious though: there are fewer lots, and no fewer people willing to buy a “blind box”. The topic is popular: searches like “Ukrposhta lost parcel auction” keep bringing people to our site too.

When the next auctions are

As of 16 October, 21 auctions are accepting applications. Auctions are scheduled for 20 October (5 sets), 21 (4), 22 (3), 27 (3), 28 (3), 29 October (2) and 3 November (1). Apply through a marketplace before the application deadline — usually the day before the auction.

What to keep in mind if you plan to take part:

• Plan a realistic budget: in October half of the sets cost UAH 12,000–16,500, i.e. UAH 120–165 per box. Plus the marketplace fee and delivery.
